I’m a sucker for a plan of action. But where do you actually start with a building project? What are the tasks and important things to do; and when?! I’ve listed them all out in an interactive planner for you!
This project planner provides a simple way to create a Gantt chart to help visualise and track your project from the initial stages through to completion. Simply enter your tasks and start and end dates – no formulas are required. The bars in the Gantt chart represent the duration of the tasks in days, and are displayed automatically. Insert new tasks by inserting new rows.
I have included a version with a comprehensive list of important milestones and tasks on a typical project, or you can create your own using the blank template. There is a column for assigning tasks to different people, and you can quickly see what progress has been made on each task. When you enter a % complete, the bar in the Gantt chart will change colour accordingly.
Also included is a To Do List. This is useful for keeping track of the micro tasks and deadlines.
