TEAM

THE FACES BEHIND THE PROJECTS:

KVIST Architecture and Design is a vibrant young studio established by Chartered Architect Christine Skaar in 2015 after several years of working in large and medium sized design offices, including Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and Wilkinson Eyre Architects.

Christine is an RIBA registered Architect and an Affiliate Member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) who has completed residential, luxury spa and commercial projects across London and the South West. Christine works on complex private residential projects and commercial fit-outs of varying scales, recently completing the £6million Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall as site Architect and interior design lead consultant. As creative director, Christine oversees the design development from concept to delivery and works closely with the client body and external design team to provide innovative and appropriate solutions to the brief.

Mara joined the team in the summer of 2018 as a Spanish RIBA and ARB registered Architect and works alongside Christine on larger schemes, running medium scale architectural projects and managing 3D visualisation work for the practice. Mara has experience working in the residential, education, commercial and industrial sectors, as well as urban design.

Sophia is studying Architecture Part 1 at the University of Bath whilst working for KVIST, supporting all our projects and helping with studio admin. We are also supported by Laura McGrath, our fantastic social media marketing guru from Digital Mums, and our highly experienced freelance technical designers, John Ruddlesdin and Stuart Woodward.
