KVIST Architecture and Design is a vibrant young practice established by Chartered Architect Christine Skaar after several years of working in large and medium sized design studios, including Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and Wilkinson Eyre Architects.
Christine has worked on several complex schemes as well as private residential projects and commercial fit-outs of varying scales, recently completing the £6million Gaia Spa at Boringdon Hall in Plymouth as Project Architect and Interior Design Lead Consultant. Design is a labour of love and developing ideas iteratively ensures that we realise the full potential of a particular project as a team. As such, we pride ourselves on listening to your needs and understanding what you value in order to draw out the elements that make a successful project. We enjoy a close working relationship with all our clients, nurtured throughout the project by an unfailing positive attitude - and good coffee!
As creative director, Christine leads the design development from concept to delivery and will be the main point of contact on most projects, working closely with the client body and external design team to provide innovative and appropriate solutions to the brief.
